Take Your Time Before Quitting

OK, you just got to work and your boss is already pissed off. Someone screwed up the entire invoice file for a major client, the office supply manager didn’t get the right toner for the printer and can’t get any more until next Tuesday, four people are out with the flu and you are three minutes late for your monthly review meeting. Steam is literally flowing from your boss’s ears when you walk in. His face is red and you can see that throbbing vein in his forehead again. Someone is going to get fired today and you’re just hoping it isn’t you.

This is the scene that a lot of people have to go through when they work in an office environment. There are plenty of people that would sit down and keep their heads low in the hopes that no one would look in their direction and start pointing fingers. There are also people that would literally hide in the corner and do their work quietly without anyone being able to blame them for anything. Then, you have people that would tell their boss to grow up and get a hold of themselves; it’s not the end of the world.

Once those people finished cleaning out their desks, they would go home and prepare themselves for the grand opening of the new home based business they had been working on for the last few months. You see, if you really want to be successful with a home based business, you have to maintain your current job, no matter how crappy it is, until you are ready to flip the switch on your home based one. You will need all the money you can get to start your business, and maintaining your current employment is the only way to do that successfully.

Once you have come to the final steps and you are ready to push yourself into the realm of working from home; that is the time you get to tell your boss exactly what you think of them and how much of a pain they were to work for. You also get the opportunity to stock up on a few office supplies, which you have conveniently stored in your desk over the last few months, making your shopping list for things in your home office much smaller than it would have been if you had quit earlier.

It takes careful planning to get a home based business off the ground. You need to take your time doing your research, marketing analysis, and demographics in order to make sure that you are going to be successful. Anyone that tells you to quit your job today and start your home business tomorrow is telling you a tale that is worthy of a king. You aren’t going to see any success on any business that you throw together in a weekend. Stay with your job as long as you can, even after you open your home business, just in case you need the extra money for things that can go wrong.

  2. Thanks for your text. I would like to say that the health insurance brokerage also works well with the benefit of the coordinators of your group insurance. The health insurance agent is given a directory of benefits sought by somebody or a group coordinator. Exactly what a broker does is try to find individuals or even coordinators which in turn best fit those requirements. Then he shows his advice and if all parties agree, the actual broker formulates a binding agreement between the 2 parties.
