Having an attorney and an accountant on hand will cost you even more money so make sure you have the funds to accommodate them.

If you are planning on working for another company, which is much easier than starting one from scratch, you will need to figure out what it is that you are skilled in. A lot of companies that offer work at home positions will train you for the job, so looking for one of those will probably be the easiest for you if you don’t have any experience. The one thing you have to remember is to never pay any company for the privilege of working for them. Companies that make you pay them a fee to get started are scams and not worth the effort.

Once you have decided what you are going to be doing, whether running your own company or working for an existing company, you will need to figure out your working space. If you already have a home office, then you shouldn’t have to worry about this too much; but if you don’t have an office or spare bedroom available, then you will need to figure out where it is you are going to set up your computer so that you have the room to work.
